Welcome to Ventlify! These terms explain what you can expect from us and what we expect from you. We've tried to keep this straightforward and written in plain English.

The Basics

By using Ventlify, you're agreeing to these terms. If you don't agree with something here, please don't use our service. We're not trying to be difficult - we just need to make sure everyone's on the same page.

What You Can Do

  • Create and manage events within your subscription limits
  • Send invitations to anyone you'd like
  • Track RSVPs and manage your guest lists
  • Upload photos and content for your events
  • Share public events with a link

What You Can't Do

  • Use Ventlify for anything illegal or harmful
  • Spam people with unwanted invitations
  • Try to hack, reverse engineer, or break our service
  • Upload content that violates others' rights or is offensive
  • Create fake accounts or impersonate others
  • Share your account credentials with others

Your Content

Everything you upload to Ventlify - your event descriptions, photos, messages - that's yours. You keep all the rights to your content.

However, you give us permission to store, display, and share your content as needed to provide our service. For example, showing your event details to people you've invited, or displaying photos you've uploaded on your event pages.

Subscriptions and Billing

Our subscription plans give you access to different features and limits. Here's how it works:

  • Free plan: 1 event per month, up to 30 RSVPs
  • Paid plans: Higher limits as described on our pricing page
  • All subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel
  • You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime

Refunds: We don't offer refunds for subscription fees, but you can cancel anytime and keep using your paid features until your current period ends.

If we need to change our pricing, we'll give you at least 30 days notice before any changes affect your account.

Privacy and Data

We take your privacy seriously. Our Privacy Policy explains exactly what data we collect and how we use it. The short version: we only collect what we need to make Ventlify work, and we never sell your data to anyone.

Service Availability

We work hard to keep Ventlify running smoothly, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime. Sometimes we need to take the service down for maintenance, or technical issues happen.

We'll do our best to give you advance notice for planned maintenance, and we'll work quickly to fix any unexpected problems.

Account Termination

You can close your account anytime by contacting us. When you do:

  • We'll stop billing you immediately
  • Your events will no longer be accessible to guests
  • We'll delete your data according to our data retention policy

We might need to suspend or close accounts that violate these terms. If that happens, we'll try to give you notice and a chance to fix the problem first, unless it's something serious that requires immediate action.

Liability and Warranties

We provide Ventlify "as is" - we can't guarantee it will be perfect for every situation. While we work hard to make it reliable and secure, we can't be responsible for things like:

  • Lost data due to technical problems
  • Events that don't go as planned
  • Issues with third-party services we integrate with
  • Problems caused by your internet connection or device

If something does go wrong and it's our fault, our liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the past 12 months.

Changes to These Terms

Sometimes we need to update these terms - for legal reasons, new features, or just to make things clearer. When we do, we'll email you about significant changes and post the updated terms here with a new date.
